In the last hours, more details of the scandal that splashes the Police and the National Government in Pereira have been known; on account of the demolition of a house, arguing that it was an important sale of hallucinogens.

As will be recalled, the events took place in the middle of a public act with the presence of Defense Minister Diego Molano, who presented the place as a place for the sale and consumption of drugs.

However, according to the complaints of the owner family, the authorities carried out a setup that has directly affected their reputation.

Carlos Sánchez, grandson of the owner of the property, assured that the day before the demolition, the police arrived at the scene to ask for the keys to the site, assuring that the Defense Minister would come the next day and that a video was required to be recorded.

But they did not imagine that several homeless people would appear on the recording, presumably consuming hallucinogens.

The family made the claim and the authorities indicated that this fragment had been edited and was not going to appear in the final product; however, it was the main argument used by Mayor Carlos Maya and Defense Minister Diego Molano to demolish the house.

Days later, the family that owns the property managed to demonstrate that the place was not a source of insecurity and that drugs were not sold there.

They collected evidence

For this reason, the family collected evidence that showed that days ago the woman was taken from her home to be taken to a foster home.

They also argued that at no time was there a judicial process of domain forfeiture, or formal complaints indicating that the property was used for the consumption of narcotics.

In addition, the older adult is unaware of what happened to her home because it could seriously affect her health.

Faced with the multiple evidence presented by the family, the Police issued a statement announcing that several uniformed officers involved in this new scandal were relieved of their duties.

“Colonel Carlos Andrés García is relieved of his position as Head of Judicial Investigation of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Interpol; Lieutenant Colonel Ana Gabriela Gutiérrez, head of the Regional Criminal Investigation of Region 3″, they pointed out.

The same thing happened with Major Wílmer Delgado, head of the Criminal Investigation Section of the Police. Likewise, Major César Alfonso Bohórquez Salcedo, head of Strategic Communications of the Dijin

However, the family is waiting for a solution that will allow them to define what will happen to their home, which for years has been inhabited by the humble woman.
