The First Court of Preparatory Investigation, in charge of Richard Concepción Carhuancho, ordered the seizure and search of the house located in jirón Sarratea, in the Breña district. According to the resolution issued by the magistrate, in the property of Alexander Sanchez Sanchezfugitive from justice and friend of Pedro Castillothe dispossession of its occupants and third parties is provided, with the purpose that it be administered by the National Program for Seized Assets (Pronabi).
In this way, the house where former President Pedro Castillo secretly dispatched will become a property of the State, while the investigations carried out by the Special Team against Power Corruption, led by prosecutor Marita Barreto, continue.
This Friday the execution of the judicial resolution began. Representatives of the Special Team and a group of police officers led by Colonel PNP Harvey Colchado, went to the property to proceed with the provisions of Judge Richard Concepción.
According to the Special Team of the Prosecutor’s Office, an “operations center” of the alleged criminal organization led by the ex-president would have been installed in Sarratea’s house Pedro Castillo to “instrumentalize power for their benefit and thereby defraud the State.”
“It is probable that inside the property it will be possible to find relevant assets for the investigation, (…) for which the search, house search and unlocking is authorized, if necessary, personal search of people who are present or who arrive at the property”, reads the resolution of Concepción Carhuancho.
