Santiago: Streets Damaged by Pipe Laying Are Paved

The Santiago Aqueduct and Sewerage Corporation (Coraasan) started this Wednesday a plan of asphalted of the streets whose pavement has been perforated by brigades of that institution for the installation of pipes.

Andres BurgosCEO of the Coraasaninformed that said works will be developed in a section of 27 de Febrero avenue, Los Jardines Metropolitanos roads, Imbert avenue, Alma Rosa in Cienfuegos, La Canela municipal district, Don José urbanization in La Barranquita, Zamarilla, La Otra Banda, Francisco del Rosario Sánchez and Chantini Street in Jardines del Este.

Patching work will also be carried out on the Duarte highway, Los Rieles highway in Gurabo, as well as on the streets Vanessa Ramírez and La España.

“The patchwork day covers the drinking water and sanitation works that we are developing in each of the places to be intervened,” Burgos declared.

The official assured that they have always been repairing the roads intervened by the brigades of Coraasan.

He indicated that as of today and during the following days they will streamline the patching plan with the institution’s brigades and the contractors in the different streets and intervened avenues to improve vehicular traffic in the city.

The institution develops more than 50 drinking water and sanitation works with an investment of 1,250 million pesos, with the aim of making the service that reaches the population more efficient.
