The number of new cases of Covid-19 in Santa Cruz continues to rise, which this day reported 733 infections, according to Headquarters. The figure is not only the highest of the week and of June, but of the last four months, indicated the Headquarters.
Covid-19 patients are distributed in 21 municipalities of Santa Cruzbut it is in the capital where they are concentrated (651).
No deaths from the coronavirus were reported and the number of recovered is 107 people, according to the report.
This Wednesday 6,874 people were immunized against Covid-19. Those who received the first dose represent 58% of the population; those who obtained the second, 47%; while those who applied the single dose are 16%. The same percentage corresponds to those who received the third dose.
The health authorities ask citizens to go to the vaccination posts to receive their dose against the virus, as a way to avoid a serious condition as a result of the disease.
