Traffic is closed on Achiras street and the intersection of route 87 and route 34

The National Highway Police Directorate reported, through its Twitter account, that circulation on route 87 is cut off due to a forest fire near Salinas, Canelones.
Traffic is closed on the achiras streetwith a detour to Colon Avenue to resume the Interbalnearia Routeand also the intersection of route 87 and route 34.
The fire started on Saturday the 8th, but the fire broke out at noon this Sunday.

According to the Fire Department spokesman, Pablo Benítez, the fire is under control and the extinguishing tasks of the secondary sources continue.
Firefighters from Parque del Plata, Jaureguiberry, Solymar, the Forestry Brigade, a tanker car, work at the site.
