This Tuesday, October 11, Roger Tejada was appointed as the new minister of the Ministry of the Government of Panama (Mingob), to replace Janaina Tewaney, who was appointed on the afternoon of Monday, October 10, as Minister of Foreign Affairs.
According to a statement issued by the Presidency of the Republic, Tejada worked as a lawyer for the firm Tejada Abogados and in 2013 he began work at the Forensic firm Infante & Pérez Almillano (IPAL), where he practiced his legal profession as associate, and directed the Labor and Penal department.
He has a degree in law and political science, graduated from the Santa María La Antigua Catholic University; He has master’s degrees in procedural law from the Universidad Latina de Panamá, and criminal sciences from the Universidad de Panamá. He also has a diploma in governance, political management and public management.
In addition, he has participated in seminars on commercial law, human rights, criminal law, tax law, among others, in addition, he provided advice to companies in the labor, banking and financial sectors, government, transportation, logistics, retail and communications, administrative matters in general. and the defense of competition and consumer protection.
It should be noted that Tejada recently held the post of Vice Minister of Labor and Workforce Development at MITRADEL.
