The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, assured this Thursday during the installation of the Network of Young Parliamentarians that “they will build the rights, the Venezuela that our children and grandchildren deserve.”
Rodríguez described this network as a “fundamental” and “essential” initiative, because “there is no way to think about the future if we do not work with those who build that future, the rest is empty,” he said.

“It is wonderful that more than 500 Venezuelan councilors are here today, who are representatives, who are spokespersons in the 335 municipalities that this country has,” he said.
He also invited the councilors and deputies to take the laws of Popular Power and take them to “each town, each street and community”, so that the legal instruments include the “voice of the people, which according to the Constitution is the voice of God”. .
“Chávez and Maduro cannot be the mayors of the 335 municipalities that Venezuela has. You have to have commissions to solve the problems of the communities,” reflected the president of parliament, Jorge Rodríguez.
“Become spokespersons for those needs, for those expectations, so that you force us to permanently discuss those needs (…) In the ears and eyes of that people who trusted all of you, you have days of deliberations left (…) No make the mistake that young people see them differently from them”, he invited.
Defense of fundamental rights
