Former deputy Roberto Jefferson (PTB) presented today (12) registration of candidacy for the Presidency of the Republic at the Superior Electoral Court (TSE). The ticket will have Father Kelmon, from the same party, as a candidate for vice president.
Jefferson declared to the Electoral Court a list of assets valued at R$ 745 thousand – an amount invested in financial investments. Kelmon declared BRL 8,500 invested in savings accounts.
In the government proposal sent to the TSE, the slate defends freedom as a fundamental principle, the right to self-defense, to carry a firearm, the criminalization of “Christophobia”, the aggravation of pedophilia as a heinous crime and the prohibition of legalization, sale and cultivation of marijuana.
In education, candidates defend decent remuneration for teachers, free university education, but reimbursed by graduates, and the eradication of illiteracy.
In terms of the environment, it proposes the rational exploitation of natural resources and a balance between economic development and nature protection.
To date, the TSE has received 11 requests for presidential candidacy registrations. For state, federal, district, senator and governor positions, registration is carried out in the regional electoral courts.
The application for registration is a necessary formality for the Electoral Court to verify whether candidates have any legal restrictions and cannot run in the October elections.
