Roberto Ángel: “Effects of the world crisis impose a leader like Abinader”

THE SEIBO.- The prominent producer and businessman Roberto Ángel Salcedo assured that the effects of the world crisis impose a responsible and humane leadership such as that represented by the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader.

These statements were made within the framework of the “Entrepreneurship and Leadership” conference that he offered in front of business, political, sports, social and media leaders of the El Seibo province, in the company of Senator Santiago Zorrilla and Provincial Governor Irene Martínez .

“This is the government with the most social investment of all time,” said the also actor and film director at the Firefighters Club of Santa Cruz de El Seibo.

“When we talk about more social investment, we are referring to greater coverage in assistance programs, greater coverage in Supérate cards, in Bonogas, Bono luz, government support in the injection of more than 13 billion pesos (in the first months of the year) to subsidize fuel prices and prevent increases from being passed on to consumers,” he added.

He said that these actions show the concern of the president and his government for the people, especially for the most vulnerable.

In Saturday’s conference, Roberto Ángel addressed fundamental issues about leadership in times of crisis, and the open and participatory management model that President Abinader has embodied since he took office in August 2020.

With the cycle of conferences “Entrepreneurship and Leadership”, the popular producer and businessman has captivated hundreds of people from different cities in the country, such as Santo Domingo, Santiago, Puerto Plata, Santiago Rodríguez, Duarte, Monte Cristi, Valverde, Azua, Elías Pineapple, La Romana, Punta Cana and San Juan.

On the eve of his visit to El Seibo, Roberto Ángel traveled to San Juan, where he highlighted that Luis Abinader and his government permanently encourage entrepreneurs to formalize and take advantage of the different incentive programs for micro, small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, through entities such as the Ministry of Industry, Promypime, Solidarity Banking, among others.

In addition, the agenda included donations, visits to various institutions and meetings with authorities, entrepreneurs, social leaders, politicians and businessmen from that city.
