Deligne Ascención, head of the MOPC, stated that this is a tool that will make it easier for citizens to report any setback that happens to them while traveling through the country’s trunk roads.
The official said that this element was one of those that the Military and Police Commission (Comipol) needed to bring its road safety service to all people.
“It is an application that will allow the request for assistance or information on incidents on the roads through an application that has been developed by Comipol’s own technicians,” said Ascención.
He indicated that, in addition to this application, the telephone number 829-688-1000 will continue to be available, seven days a week and 24 hours a day.
For his part, the director of the Military and Police Commission, Brigadier General Rafael Vásquez Espínola, highlighted the effort to make the new technological service available to everyone, which he said has come to stay.
