Dajabón-. A retired Brigadier General of the Dominican Republic Air Force, José Teófilo Pérez Peralta (Shulindo), was wounded by bullets and bladed weapons at his farm in the La Patilla community, Sabana Santiago.
It was revealed that the officer was seriously injured by several shots and a knife in lawsuits over control of a mine in the border area of Dajabón.
Witnesses present at the scene reported that the attack was caused by a conflict over control of a land mine, to extract aggregates, where the general argues that it was his property.

It was reported that a general close to noon was transferred to the emergency room of the Matías Ramón Mella Hospital in Dajabón, with several bullet wounds in different parts of the body and stab wounds, in the knees and legs.
