The National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (Inder) has made adjustments to the calendar of events scheduled for this 2022.
The organization and programming management refers that the variations of dates respond to the maxim of guaranteeing the quality of the competitions and the best conditions in the venues.
Each territory has a high responsibility and the interest to complete each contest, despite the existing economic limitations. For this reason, changes of dates will be made in several national contests. The changes are listed below…
. The national field hockey championships, initially scheduled for February in Havana, have been postponed to the second half of the year with a date and venue to be defined.
. The Elite Karate Tournament, announced from February 24 to 28 in Santiago de Cuba, is postponed to May (4-10) at the same venue.
. The Aclifim National Paraweight Championship, to be held in Granma, is postponed to the second half of the year on a date and venue to be defined.
. The Fitcuba event (final) scheduled for February 24-27 in Havana is postponed to April (19-22) in the same province.
. The National Volleyball Championship, female branch, announced for Camagüey from March 21 to April 4, is postponed to May (1-10) at the same venue.
. The archery competition scheduled for March 23 to 28 in Sancti Spíritus is postponed to the same venue from May 6 to 12.
. The physical education class contest scheduled for March in Villa Clara is postponed to the same venue from May 8 to 12.
. The Special Olympics (western area) will be held in the province of Artemisa from March 21 to 25.
. The Superior Basketball League postpones its start, scheduled for the first of March for the first of April.
. The zoned baseball qualifying competitions for the 17-18 age category will take place from March 12 to June 12.
. The National Chess Championship for men and for people with disabilities, to be held in Villa Clara from February 22 to March 9, is organized as follows: for people with disabilities from February 22 to 27 and the men from the first to March, 15th.
. The holding of the pioneer cups on the scheduled date is confirmed, which will be called the Pioneer Cups of Skills. To carry it out, the national sports commissions make up their evaluation format.
