Venezuela in the last hours registered a total of 81 new coronavirus infections in the country; all by community transmission, reported Vice President Delcy Rodríguez.

In balance on Twitter, He said that the state where the largest number of cases have been detected in the last few hours is Lara (19), with active infections in 3 municipalities; they are followed by the entities: Aragua (11), Yaracuy (8) and Caracas (8).

On the other hand, he reported that 2 Venezuelans died from the coronavirus: 1 60-year-old man from Nueva Esparta, and 1 70-year-old woman from Sucre.

The new data places the general statistics of the pandemic in the country at:

– Total infections: 521,186

– Recovered patients: 513,762 (99%)

– Current active cases: 1,733

– Total deaths: 5,691

“On World Health Day, we reaffirm the commitment of the government of President Nicolás Maduro to guarantee our people access to a free health system. In the midst of covid-19, we have prioritized the comprehensive care and protection of all Venezuelans », he concluded.
