The staff of the Altos Mirandinos Aqueduct of the Hydrology of the Capital Region CA, (HIDROCAPITAL), carries out rehabilitation work in the El Chorrito deep well in the city of Los Teques, Miranda state.
This swamp, which is located on the old Caracas – Los Teques highway, Guaicaipuro municipality, is at a depth of 60 meters and has a flow of approximately 10 liters per second, reported the Ministry of People’s Power for Water Care, in Press release.
There, a 15 Hp pump with a diameter of 4 inches is installed, which sucks and leads the vital liquid to the distribution network.
To calibrate and verify the functionality of the equipment installed in this strategic water infrastructure, the work group of the capital’s hydrology company examined the electromechanical area (pumping device, valves and electrical apparatus), and verified the status of the new structure for the filling of the cisterns and of the box that protects the well.
The works are part of the Map of Solutions and the Specific Action Agenda (ACA) instructed by the sectoral vice president of Public Works and Services, G/J Néstor Reverol, and the Minister of People’s Power for Water Services, G/D Rodolfo Marco Torres, to protect and recover the country’s water infrastructure.
In addition, they are part of the 3R.Nets (Resistance, Renaissance and Revolution) that the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, has established in order to guarantee the well-being of the Venezuelan people.
