The Refidomsa Foundationin its commitment to the safety and well-being of Dominicans, made a donation of communication radios and purchase orders to the Civil defense from the municipality of Hainan.
The delivery was made by Paul Rojas, executive director of the institution, who explained that Refidomsa is committed to collaborating with the Civil Defense and other volunteer institutions.
“Just like last year, we wanted to collaborate with the Civil Defense volunteers, who dedicated time and effort to maintain the safety of thousands of people who vacationed during these days and moved to various parts of the country,” explained Rojas,
The donations were received by Sandro de la Cruz, representative of the Civil Defense, who thanked the Refidomsa Foundation and its president, doctor Leonard Aguilerafor valuing the work that the volunteers have been doing year after year for the community.
With the radios, the members of the institution will be able to communicate with each other during the operation on days off, and thus better coordinate their work.
While the orders will be used to buy food, water and cover other material needs of the brigade members who work during Holy Week.
