Real Santa Cruz won a tight match against Royal Pari. Dorny Romero was the total protagonist with a goal, two hand in hand wastedand was expelled after an inexplicable elbow to Luis Gutiérrez.
Dorny Romero wasted a one-on-one against Daniel Vaca in the 10th minute. The Dominican finished off the body of the goalkeeper who had come out in a good way.
In the 20th minute, the Dominican once again wasted a golden opportunity after a solo run from his own field with Kevin Mina. The Ecuadorian waited for Romero, they made the two – one to Royal’s goalkeeper, and incredibly, Dorny finished outside the three posts.
The third time was the charm. The Dominican received the ball in the left corner of the area, fanned himself towards the center, and took a violent left foot to beat Daniel Vaca. He missed the easy ones, but in the difficult one he scored.
In the 39th minute Real extended the lead. Ricardo Suárez managed to connect an accurate header after a cross from Alan Mercado. Great move unmarked to get to connect alone and beat Daniel Vaca.
‘Copito’ Andrada’s team responded in the second half. In the 60th minute, Gilbert Álvarez discounted after a great clearance by Jhon Pérez from the left sector. The national connected with a header after the corner kick.
In minute 72, Dorny Romero was sent off via VAR. The referee saw an elbow to Luis Gutiérrez and the white team was left with a man less, and with many minutes remaining.
The meeting was consumed with the suspense of the minimum advantage, and on top of that with one more man for the real estate agents. There were clear actions for both, but Real Santa Cruz kept his composure, and stayed with the victory.
