Former Colombian soccer player Freddy Rincón is fighting for his life at the Imbanaco Clinic in the city of Cali, after suffering a spectacular car accident in Sultana del Valle.

The truck in which he was traveling at night along a street in the capital of Valle del Cauca collided with a feeder bus from Mío, the city’s mass transportation system.

Several injured, including the bus driver and Rincón the most affected.

The former player of the Colombian National Team remains in the Intensive Care Unit of the aforementioned healthcare center under a reserved prognosis and in critical condition.
