Rayssa Leal wins title at the Las Vegas stage of the World Skate League

Silver medal at the Tokyo Games, Rayssa Leal was once again in the professional skateboarding World League, the Street League Skateboarding (SLS), by winning this Saturday (8) the third stage of the circuit, in Las Vegas (United States). It is the third title in a row for the 14-year-old skater, also known as Fadinha. The Imperatriz native of Maranhão had already conquered the previous stages, in Seattle and Jacksonville, both in the United States. In the final in Las Vegas, Rayssa scored 20.1, beating Australia’s Chloe Covell (18.8), North American Poe Pinson (17.5) and compatriot Pâmela Rosa (17.5).

With today’s triumph (8), Rayssa continues to lead the world circuit, with 300 points, followed by two-time champion Pamela Rosa, with 260. Both are directly classified to compete in the grand final, the Super Crown, which will take place again in Rio January, on the 5th and 6th of November. The event brings together the top four skaters in each gender in the season, in addition to those classified in the final qualifier – Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) for the last four spots in women’s and men’s.
