This Tuesday is the deadline for registration. RASE (Registry of Access to Energy Subsidies) for citizens whose DNI ends in 6,7,8 and 9; however, the Government extended the expiration for five more days.
As announced by the Executive Power, although the registration for the aforementioned DNIs will be closed today, until next July 31, the RASE will remain enabled online, so that citizens who have not completed the formula they do it.
For the next five days, the RASE it can be completed regardless of the DNI number; since the form will be enabled for all documents, since the number of registrations has been lower than previously thought.
According to official data, until this Monday, July 25, 5,081,191 households had completed the registration; Of these, 2,779,155 households will maintain the social rate; while 2,089,862 users are part of the middle-income population, that is, they will maintain the support of the State.
This means that, according to the records available to date, some five million households would maintain state support; however, there are 26 million users who have electricity and gas.
Although citizens with higher incomes can refrain from completing the registration, because they would remain in the group that will not receive subsidies, the Ministry of Energy expected that at least 10 million households would maintain state support.
This means that many citizens who may need the subsidies have not completed the form, for which they have until July 31 to do so, virtually or at the headquarters of the ANSES (National Administration for Social Security).
What happens if I don’t register?
The Government recommends that all citizens fill out the formula; even those who can receive income of more than 3.5 basic baskets, since, although they may be within group 1 (without subsidies), the Executive explains that “they could have the subsidy again if their personal situation changes”.
In the event that the citizen definitely does not complete the registration, he will lose the option of receiving support from the State and will start to pay, as of August, the full rate for electricity and gas, which, although it will have a gradual increase, the rise will be of approximately $3,000.
