Ramon Saadiformer governor of Catamarca, passed away this Thursday at the age of 74, after suffering several health complications due to a disease he had suffered for several years and which had deteriorated over time.

The ceremony will take place at the Fray Mamerto Esquiú Municipal Cemetery, where his remains will be deposited in the family vault, along with those of his father, the former governor of the province, Vicente Leónides Saadi.
The news of the death of the former governor was announced by Gustavo Saadi, mayor of San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca and nephew of the president, who through his social networks expressed: “With deep pain we say goodbye to our beloved Ramon Saadi”.
After confirming his death, different political leaders have expressed their condolences to the deputy’s friends and family, and have recalled his work and management in the public sphere.
Who was Ramón Saadi?
Saadi He was a national deputy during the periods 1991-1995 and 1999-2003, and a national senator between 1987 and 1988 and between 2003 and 2009. He was also governor of Catamarca between 1983 and 1987, and between 1988 and 1991.
