San Cristobal.- Members of the Central Intelligence Directorate (DINTEL) of the National Police in San Cristóbal, together with the SWAT operations team and gray berets, carried out a raid on a home that operated as a warehouse and repair center for illegal slot machines. .
The action was carried out under order No. 01541-2024-AJOA-02270.
The raid, supervised by prosecutors from the Public Ministry, focused on dismantling a network of operation and distribution of these illegal gaming machines. During the operation, upon noticing the police action, an individual known as “Gogo” managed to escape, who has been identified as the person responsible for the illicit operation.
Among the seized assets were 28 slot machines, as well as a large quantity of electronic components.
Among them, 130 cards, 29 coin dispensers and various electronic parts used for the construction and repair of the machines were confiscated.
In addition, a coin counting machine and cards linked to social programs were seized.
The authorities continue with the investigations to find the whereabouts of those responsible and eradicate this type of illegal operations that affect the economic and social order of the community.
