Continuity. The first promise he kept Rafael Lopez Aliaga as mayor of Lima is to materialize the memory of the former burgomaster Luis Castaneda lossio. The official was implicated in the Comunicore case for alleged collusion and was able to escape responsibility with the ruling of the commission led by his wife, the Fujimorista Patricia Juarez. Now he will serve in the same position he had with Castañeda Lossio.
This corruption was alerted by the Comptroller’s Office and consisted in the fact that Comunicore bought a debt that Relima had with the Municipality of Lima since 1998. Initially, 14.6 million soles were paid, but there was a second operation processed by the Lima commune of 35.9 million soles.

Jose Justiniano Martinez
