Racing Club beat Independiente 2-1 at the Libertadores de América-Ricardo Bochini stadium and was at least momentarily at the top of its group, in the framework of the seventh day of the Professional Soccer League Cup.
Three minutes into the game, the “Devil” Gabriel Hauche opened the scoring in favor of the “Academy”.
In the second stage Lucas González equalized temporarily (10m) and Enzo Copetti gave the victory to the visitor (40m).
As a result of the victory, Racing was at least temporarily at the top of Zone A with 15 points, while Independiente remains ninth in Zone B with seven points.
Independiente came out to play the game with the intention of quickly taking the lead, with the team focused on offense, which gave the visitor the chance to bring danger to Sosa’s goal on the counterattack with the speed of Hauche and Chancalay.

Facing the end of the game, Racing took care with criteria and order the result in favor, while Independiente looked for the tie with more desire than game ideas without being able to violate the “academic” arc again.
The local public, after the defeat, insulted the president of the institution, Hugo Moyano, who had to request the help of his personal security to calm down a group of excited members who had crowded the windows of the official box.
On the next day (eighth) Racing will receive Sarmiento, while “Rojo” will visit Barracas Central.
