The general manager of the National Lottery, Teófilo -Quico- TabarYesterday, he exhorted the betting banking sector to reflect coldly and allow the bases for a more organized, clear and fair, without irritating privilegesafter warning that otherwise, the time will come when society will get fed up with disorder.
“We hope that the necessary controls will be restored from the Lottery. Create a climate of trust and respect. Not only among those who have banks and dealerships, but in front of the people who live by faith and hope”, the official specified.
He said that he does not know how long he will be in charge of the entity, since he should not and cannot continue dividing time in two institutions at the same time, in addition to two Councils that entail effort and dedication.
He recalled that in December of last year, the Lottery Advisory Council delivered to the president Louis Abinader a document in which he suggested, among other aspects, to carry out a regularization process, as well as to modify the law that creates the Lottery.
In this sense, by means of a decree, the regularization of the sector was declared of interest. In this context, he said that he hopes that the proposal will be presented to Congress for consideration, consensus and approval.

Likewise, it advocates the administrative and managerial strengthening of the institution, creating internal mystique and trust with those related so that everyone understands that the institution fulfills and guarantees its commitments.
It favors transparent agreements with the different sectors linked to the sector, making them understand the role of the Lottery as a public entity and their role as private entities.
He also advocates agreements with both the New York Lottery and the Spanish Lottery, for which, he assures, he has the collaboration of the congressman Adriano Espaillat and the Dominican Ambassador Juan Bolivar Diaz.
It proposes introducing innovations in the draws to make them more attractive and create atmospheres of fellowship. He said that it is important to make citizens understand · that the Lottery does not have betting benches of any kind, that all the benches scattered throughout the national territory are private property.
