Alcides Villafuerte is one of the former officials accused by businesswoman and aspiring effective collaborator, Karelim López, of having benefited the consortium Tarata III Bridge in a tender of more than S/232 million for the construction of a road work on the Huallaga river, in the San Martín region.
According to the fiscal hypothesis, Villafuerte Vizcarra was in charge of the management of Provías and who, supposedly, ordered to extend the date for submitting proposals in order to favor the aforementioned consortium.
