The Federation of Public Health Officials (FFSP) mobilized this Tuesday in front of the door of the annex to the Legislative Palace where authorities from the State Health Services Administration (ASSE) were in the Deputies’ Budget Commission.
The president of the FFSP, Martín Pereira, expressed that the mobilization took place “in demand for the maintenance of the positions of the Covid Fund, at least until December, which is when the funds destined for ASSE human resources will be enabled, which will allow enter 1,200 genuine charges to the Administration».
“We are in the period in which the calls should be made, so we ask that between now and December the colleagues who entered the Covid Fund be kept,” Pereira said.
The leader explained that they will continue to fight for the wages of ASSE workers and categorically rejected the outsourcing of health.
Likewise, the declaration of insalubrity and the correction of all the inequities that exist with the different complements within ASSE are requested.
Pereira indicated that the FFSP was able to speak with the ASSE authorities before they entered the commission and they were raised with the fundamental need to maintain human resources and not deprive ASSE of funds.
“We know that in each Rendering of Accounts there may be changes in the destination of the funds from one paragraph to another and we think that ASSE’s money has to remain in ASSE”, assured the president of the union.
