Enrollment for the University for All Program (ProUni) for the second half of this year ends today (5th). The deadline started last Monday (1st) and would end yesterday (4th), but was extended for another day. Interested students should access the Single Portal for Access to Higher Education.
The result of the first call comes out on August 9th and enrollment must be carried out between August 9th and 17th. The result of the second call will be announced on August 22, with enrollment between August 22 and 31.
According to the Ministry of Education (MEC), as of this edition, instead of disclosing the cut-off information, the partial classification of each candidate will be disclosed. The latest ranking will be released today. With this, the candidate will be able to check once again his position in relation to his competitors, who are those who selected the same registration options as him.
For those who are not selected in the regular calls, the program also offers the opportunity to participate in the waiting list. For this, the student must express interest on the 5th and 6th of September. The results of the waiting list will be announced on September 9th and enrollment must be carried out between September 10th and 16th.
What is ProUni?
ProUni is the federal government program that offers full and partial (50%) scholarships at private higher education institutions. In this edition, more than 190 thousand scholarships will be offered.
The candidate must have completed the 2021 or 2020 editions, or both, of the National High School Exam (Enem), and must have achieved at least 450 points in the grade point average and have not scored zero in the essay. Another requirement is not having participated in the Enem as a trainer. The edition of the Enem with the best grade point average will be considered.
To have access to the full scholarship, the student must prove gross monthly family income of up to 1.5 minimum wage per person. For the partial scholarship, the gross monthly family income must be up to three minimum wages per person.
The program’s target audience is the student without a college degree. Teachers from the public school system can also compete for an exclusive grant for teaching and teaching courses, aimed at training basic education teachers. In this case, the income limit required for other candidates does not apply.
