One day after Andrea Fórfori was denounced before the Public Ministry for the alleged concussion and embezzlement of public resourcesthe prosecutor Marcela Terceros and police investigators entered the Fifth Municipal to “look for background information” and “indications”.

The now former director of the Botanical Garden was involved in a scandal after an audio was leaked that revealed the alleged sale of items. To this was added the complaint of two people who identified other municipal officials who, presently, are part of this municipal network of item trafficking.

Those who filed the complaint against Fórfori were the councilors of Autonomous Community (CA), political party in opposition to mayor Jhonny Fernández, the current leader of the Unidad Cívica Solidaridad (UCS) and mayor of Santa Cruz de la Sierra.

The complaint is signed by the councilors Juan Carlos Medrano, Marcelo Vidaurre, Federico Morón, Karina Orihuela and José Antonio Alberti, who yesterday explained, in a press conference, that the new irregularity was revealed thanks to the complaint of two affected public officials.

Prosecutor Terceros told the media, before entering the Fifth Municipal, that the investigation involves the Human Resources area of the Mayor’s Office and that requisitioning the offices of the Botanical Garden is not ruled out.
