The Special Team against the Corruption of Power requested 36 months of impediment to leave the country against the first lady, Lilia Paredes. The request reaches the brothers Walter and David Paredes Navarroas well as businessman Hugo Espino, according to reliable sources reported to La República.
It was learned that the request for restricted appearance with rules of conduct and impediment to exit is based on the alleged criminal organization that would lead the President Pedro Castillothe same one that would be integrated by the minister of the MTC Geiner Alvarado, Yenifer Paredesthe first lady, the Paredes Navarro brothers, mayors, and businessman Hugo and Angii Espino Lucana, for their participation in the alleged crimes of influence peddling, collusion, and money laundering.

Last Friday, August 19, President Pedro Castillo indicated that the first lady, Lilia Paredes, would deliver her passport to the Public Ministry in the event of an eventual impediment to leaving the country; however, three days after this announcement, what was announced did not materialize.
“Today they want to mount a request to prevent my wife from leaving the country. I must tell you that she is ready, in the next few hours, to hand over her own passport. She is not going to leave the country at any time and she has to submit not only to justice, but to prove her innocence, ”said the president last Friday.
It was the lawyer of the first Benji Espinoza, who said early Monday morning that his client, Lilia Paredes, would not go to the Prosecutor’s Office today because “she must collect a set of information.”
