The Association of Women for Support Against Breast Cancer (AMACMA) launched its own web page where patients, families and interested parties can access information about the organization’s work and breast cancer detection and treatment programs in the country.
Days ago the official authorization of the site www.amacma.org.pybelonging to the AMACMA organizationthis being one of his last projects of the year.
The website displays the organization’s goals, services, and campaigns and will serve as a guide for patients, since will have advice and activities that will be carried out. In this way, the association will work on the axes of communication and visibility of the disease from a space with reliable and truthful information.
In that sense, includes data from the “Pink October” campaignin addition to detail partnerships and fundraising mechanismsinviting the public to donate and support the cause. It also offers a space for frequently asked questions and a blog with information about breast cancer.

“Our biggest challenge is trying to the Paraguayan health system responds to the needs of the population suffering from breast cancer today: the development of a health system, better medicines and speed of response”, expressed Lira Giménez, president of AMACMA.
With partial figures of 1,600 breast cancer diagnoses in 2021the organization perceives that Mortality rates at the national level are affected by the structure of the health systemwhich cannot provide a quick response to those who need access to treatment.
Thanks to the cooperation of donors and collaborating companiesAMACMA notes that the response to the campaigns and the commitment of different institutions is increasing and with that, there is more information regarding early detectionthe essential pillar in timely treatment in breast cancer.
