Proposals for the minimum wage will be known on December 14

On December 14, the proposals of employers and workers to define the minimum wage for next 2022 will be officially known. This was announced this Friday by the Ministry of Labor at the conclusion of the first official tripartite meeting that defined the schedule of meetings.

Thus, the next December 10 will be the blended meeting of the Productivity Subcommittee. That same day, the Permanent Commission for the Agreement on Salary and Labor Policies – CPCPSL, will meet in plenary to hear the reports of the Banco de la República, Dane and the Ministries of Finance and Labor.

Three days later, a face-to-face forum will be held with experts to learn about the analysis of the labor market from different perspectives.

The next day, December 14, A face-to-face meeting will be held where the report of the productivity subcommittee will be presented and the proposals from employers and workers will be officially known.

One day later, on December 15, it will be the first legal expiration for the negotiation of the minimum wage.

“We continue with the desire to seek in a concerted manner the benefit of all Colombian workers”said the Minister of Labor, Ángel Custodio Cabrera.
