In order to humanize and strengthen its performance, the Ministry for Penitentiary Services, the process of evaluation and review of the professional profiles of the entity’s workers began, informed the minister of the portfolio, Celsa Bautista.
Through his account on the social network Twitter, Bautista explained that a work table was held at the Ministry’s main headquarters in El Rosal, Caracas, with all the deputy ministers and general directors to review each of the professional profiles.
“We held a work table at our main headquarters in El Rosal, with the Vice Ministers and General Directors of @mppsp_vzla where we reviewed the professional profiles of the workers who work in all the headquarters of the ministerial entity,” the Minister published on Twitter.
Strengthen services: respect for deprived of liberty
Minister Celsa Bautista stressed that the meeting with the vice ministers and general directors seeks to unify criteria, humanize the processes and consolidate the strengthening of services in the country’s prisons.
It is about strengthening in public servants the sense of belonging and vocation of respect for the private and deprived of liberty, he added.
“We carried out this evaluation with the purpose of promoting humanization plans and the strengthening of the penitentiary service in the country, strengthening in public servants a sense of belonging and a vocation of respect for those deprived of liberty,” he indicated on the social network. .
Activate transport units
This Monday the Ministry for the Penitentiary Service activated two new units of transport with the objective of guaranteeing the transfer of the deprived of liberty to the different justice administration bodies and forensic medicine centers.
The information was released by Minister Celsa Bautista, through her account on the social network Twitter, in which she specified that the transport units have a capacity for 32 seats.
“We have activated 2 transport units, each with a capacity for 32 positions respectively, with the aim of guaranteeing the transfer of inmates to the different justice administration bodies and forensic medicine centers”, published the Minister.
Committed to improving prison services
The Ministry for Penitentiary Service maintains a permanent inspection work to guarantee the operation of the facilities where prisoners live, actions that are carried out under the instructions of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, and the Minister for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, Remigio Ceballos.
Among the actions carried out is the visit to penitentiary centers throughout the country to listen to those deprived of liberty, and thus take their requests into account; High school diplomas have also been awarded for the Ribas Mission and 20 initial journey certificates for the Sucre Mission; uniform deliveries; delivery of release slips.
