The Ministry of Production (Produce) today approved the transfer of S/ 7,036,291 in favor of the Technological Institute of Production (ITP) and the Regional Government of San Martin to co-finance disbursements for six projects associated with innovation and productivity.
The measure was ordered by ministerial resolution (RM) 00315-2022 of Produce, published today in the newspaper El Peruano.
In this sense, it is established that the transfer of monetary resources is made under the institutional budget of the Executing Unit 004: National Innovation Program for the Competitiveness and Productivity of Produce, within the framework of the loan contract 3700/OC-PE and of the provisions of article 69 of Law 31365, Public Sector Budget Law for Fiscal Year 2022.

In the recitals of the norm, it is indicated that the transfer of financial resources is in favor of the ITP up to S/ 6.9 million and the regional government of San Martín (special project Huallaga Central and Bajo Mayo) up to S/ 79,999, adding the total transfer of S/ 7 million.
It is indicated that these monetary resources will be used to co-finance the disbursements of six projects, of which five are initiatives of the Center for Extension and Technology Transfer – Second Phase (CETF2) and one is a project to boost regional ecosystems of innovation and entrepreneurship.
This, as part of the loan contract 3700/OC-PE: “Improvement of the Levels of Productive Innovation at the National Level”, and the provisions of article 69 of Law 31365.
This resolution also determines that the resources of financial transfers may not be used, under responsibility, for purposes other than those for which they are authorized.
It is established that the National Program of Innovation for the Competitiveness and Productivity of Produce is responsible for the monitoring, follow-up and fulfillment of the physical and financial purposes and goals for which the aforementioned financial transfers are made.
In addition, it is dictated that the General Office of Administration, or the one that takes its place, of the National Program of Innovation for Competitiveness and Productivity carries out the corresponding administrative actions for the fulfillment of what is established in the norm.
