The chief of staff, Juan Manzur, affirmed on Monday that the government’s objective “is to generate confidence and certainty in Argentina in a complex and difficult context at the international level,” and emphasized that President Alberto Fernández’s administration is working to “redouble efforts “so that the country “gets ahead”.
The coordinating minister expressed himself in these terms in statements to the media upon entering the Casa Rosada, at 7 in the morning.
“Today a stage begins in which the Government seeks to generate trust and certainty in a very complex and difficult context at the international level, due to the consequences of the war, and that is why what we want is to generate certainty in the economy,” Manzur said before a Télam consultation.
The official explained that the Minister of Economy, Silvina Batakis, “He has already formed his entire team of collaborators, made up of impeccable men and women with a long history, very solid.”
Manzur noted that Batakis and his collaborators “yesterday they met with the president of the Nation and presented their first guidelines on economic policy”.
“Today at 9 in the morning is the first press conference with all his team and the economic cabinet,” Manzur said about the minister’s activities.
The chief of staff stressed that the President’s instruction is to “redouble efforts and put all the State mechanisms in place to improve people’s quality of life and for the country to move forward.”
In another order, he maintained that “we must continue working for the unity of the Frente de Todos” (FdT).
“We make up a political space in which we have always said that above all the visions and questions that have to do with differences, unity will prevail and we are sure of that to face what is coming”the coordinating minister told Télam.
