Duarte- The Public ministry got three months preventive prison against a man who killed his mother and a brother after causing them multiple stab wounds in different parts of the body, during an incident that occurred on September 4 in the municipality of San Francisco de Macorís.
The Judicial Office of Permanent Care Services of the Judicial District of Duarte imposed the custodial measure on Féliz Núñez González and ordered that he comply with it at the Vista al Valle Correction and Rehabilitation Center (CCR) in that town.
The file indicates that the defendant was arrested in flagrante delicto, moments after he caused the death of his mother Luz María González Martínez de Núñez and wounded his brother Isidro Núñez González, who later died in a medical center in the area where received attention.
Mrs. González Martínez died from multiple stab wounds in different parts of her body, while her brother, with a previous health condition, received stab wounds to his upper and lower limbs that caused his death.
The incident occurred at a time when the accused and the deceased were at their residence, located in La Guamita, Loma de Jaya section of San Francisco de Macorís.
The accused today of committing the criminal action, which has moved the entire community, also has moderate head trauma, facial trauma, lower jaw fracture, abdominal trauma and multiple lacerations, caused by civilians who were near the scene, who intervened to prevent to hurt more people.
By means of an inspection of the place, agents of the National Police collected a machete, with which the accused committed the acts and which was presented as evidence in court.
Judge Josefina Noemí Díaz Marte issued the coercive measure against Núñez González for the parricide criminal type, typified and punished by articles 295 and 299 of the Penal Code.
