President sympathizes with relatives of children who died in an accident in SPM

The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, expressed solidarity this Thursday with the relatives of the three children who were run over, in the province of San Pedro de Macorís.

“We came here to give them all the moral support and tell them that we have given instructions that a special unit carry out the investigations that are already very advanced and that they have everything we can do,” Abinader said.

Once he gave condolences to the relatives of the children, of whom two lost their lives and one was injured and was hospitalized, the head of state guaranteed that in this case there will be justice.

Yeremy José Nobel, 7 years old, and Carlos José Nova, 5 years old, were hit by a jeep when they were leaving a baseball practice in the Santa Fé sector.

The minor Yeferson José Nobel, six years old, and his father Gerald Nobel, who was the victims’ ball coach, were also injured in the accident. The incident occurred on Eduardo Mañon street in Santa Fe, when the jeepeta.

The children were sons of Carlos José Nova Peguero and Geraldo Nobel, both residents of the same community.

The National Police activated the location of a man in relation to the traffic accident that occurred on January 27.

The persecuted is Andrés Julio Céspedes, against whom the First Chamber of the Special Traffic Court of Peace of San Pedro de Macorís issued an arrest and search warrant.

According to the report, the children were run over by the Toyota jeep, 4Runner Limited 4WD, year 2014, black, plate G429832, registering an apparent change of driver, as seen in images captured by a video surveillance camera.
