The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, signed this Wednesday the decree to create the commission for the reform of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, which will be chaired by the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab; that allows, in his opinion, “to expand democracy, define the profile of society and define the bases of the new economy.”
“I have asked the constituent, Tarek William Saab, to be the president of the commission for constitutional reform, because of his experience as a jurist and defender of human rights and drafter of the Constitution,” said Maduro, recalling the political life of the head of the Public Ministry.
