In a massive act in the Club San Lázaro, with the participation of hundreds of people, the president Louis Abinader and the Minister of Tourism, David Colladosocialized the National Planning, Regulation, Training and Financing Plan for Associations and Informal Vendors of the Beaches with a investment of RD$3,000 million.
“The face of tourism is each one of you,” said the president, expressing “then tell you, was the work in tourism worth it, was it worth the work we did to raise tourism?”
He highlighted the growth experienced in the flow of tourists in July and the strengthening experienced by the exchange rate in the last months of this year.

The directors of the Professional Technical Institute (Infotep), Raphael Santos and Promipyme, Porfirio Peraltawho presented their programs and work plans focused on the training and education of entrepreneurs and informal traders and the financing available at low interest rate and long terms.
The plan includes 25 beaches throughout the national territory, more than 600 businesses and 3,000 people, including Guayacanes, Las Galeras, Macao and Boca Chica Miches, Los Patos, Los Quemaitos, Saladillas and then Palenque and beaches of Puerto Plata.

“We focused on promoting the big ones, but our hearts and minds were always thinking about the benefit of the little ones,” Collado said.
The objective is to rejuvenate and recover the beaches. “I want to express the pride and satisfaction I have in working with President Luis Abinader, the man who has most supported tourism in the country’s history.”
On each beach, he said, they see precariousness, how ugly the sales modules are, and the plan includes the renovation of infrastructures that contribute to provide quality services.
