On the other hand, the President called for Russia to respect international treaties, such as the Geneva Conventions, and to seek a peaceful solution to the conflict, the most serious since World War II.
“Chile urges Russia to respect the Geneva Conventions on international humanitarian law. We will collaborate with other countries to seek a peaceful solution to the conflict, within the framework of international law and the Charter of Nations,” he concluded.
