The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, held a meeting this Friday with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Planning of Cuba; Alejandro Gil, at the Miraflores Palace.
In this meeting, which was held in the Néstor Kirchner Hall, the Venezuelan head of state was accompanied by the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, and the first combatant, Cilia Flores, according to images broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión.
The Cuban deputy prime minister was accompanied by the Cuban ambassador to Venezuela, Dagoberto Rodríguez; and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Technical Secretary of the Comprehensive Cuba-Venezuela Cooperation Agreement, Roberto López.
The Cuban deputy prime minister arrived in the country last Wednesday on an official working visit to review the Comprehensive Cuba-Venezuela Cooperation Agreement.
This Thursday, Gil held a meeting with the Executive Vice President to evaluate various areas of cooperation between both nations.
The strategic cooperation between Cuba and Venezuela includes almost all areas of society and the economy such as health, sports, education, communication, food, energy and science.
