President Maduro commemorates 73 years of the founding of China

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, commemorated this Saturday the 73 years of foundation of the People’s Republic of China.

“We greet the Chinese people and our friend, President Xi Jinping, in the framework of the celebration of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of China as a People’s Republic. We quote the words of the “Great Helmsman”, during the proclamation: ‘The Chinese people have stood up’, the Venezuelan head of state wrote in his account on the Twitter social network.

For his part, the Minister for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López highlighted the leadership of Mao Tse Tung, to lay the foundations in the Asian giant, to build a world of cooperation and with “a shared destiny for humanity.”

«We salute the People’s Republic of China, which today celebrates 73 years of its foundation, guided by the Great Helmsman Mao Tse Tung; he laid the revolutionary foundations for the construction of a better world, of peace and cooperation, with a shared destiny for humanity. LONG LIVE CHINA! », he wrote on the social network.

On October 1, 1949, national leader Mao Tse Tung proclaimed the founding of the People’s Republic of China, stating: “The Chinese people have risen to their feet.”
