The President of the Republic, Jair Bolsonaro, showed clinical improvement after the passage of a nasogastric tube, according to the medical bulletin published this evening (3) by the Vila Nova Star hospital, where he has been hospitalized since dawn, in the south of São Paulo. According to the bulletin, the president evolves without fever or abdominal pain. However, there is still no definitive assessment as to the need for surgical intervention.
“The Vila Nova Star Hospital informs that the President of the Republic, Jair Messias Bolsonaro, presented clinical improvement after passing the nasogastric tube, evolving without fever or abdominal pain. The patient took a short walk down the hospital corridor and remains in clinical treatment”, says the hospital.
Bolsonaro was admitted this morning because of abdominal pain. In the first information released this morning, the doctors who serve the president informed that Bolsonaro has a picture of intestinal obstruction.
The president arrived in São Paulo around 1:30 am, after leaving the Fort Marshal Light, in São Francisco do Sul, on the coast of Santa Catarina, where he spent the turn of the year.
