President-elect Gabriel Boric and future minister Urrejola condemn Russian attack in Ukraine

The President-elect, Gabriel Boric, condemned the actions of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, in a conflict that has been marked by the death of more than 50 people of both nationalities.

Given this, the President-elect criticized Russia for the military movement and assured that his solidarity is with the victims.

“Russia has opted for war as a means to resolve conflicts. From Chile we condemn the invasion of Ukraine, the violation of its sovereignty and the illegitimate use of force. Our solidarity will be with the victims and our humble efforts with peace,” he snapped. .

To these words were added those of the future Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonia Urrejola, who responded to the President-elect’s comment and in the same way condemned the act and called for swift action to resume the path of dialogue.

“We call on the international community to act quickly to resume diplomatic dialogue,” he concluded.
