During the presentation ceremony of the personnel of the Armed Forces of Lima and Callao who will support the Police in controlling internal order during the APEC Peru Leaders Week 2024, the president Dina Boluarte reaffirmed its commitment to continue maintaining a strong economy.
Thus, he called on all Peruvian families and institutions to unite so that the important forum shines with its own light.
Regarding the participation of the National Police and the Armed Forces in the preservation of internal order, the president asserted that the work of both institutions will be important for the success of the international event: “We are sure that the joint work of the Forces “Armed and the National Police will result in a successful forum and an image of unity and strength that will be very positive for Peru and for the world.”
Enthusiastic, the president highlighted that the support of the Armed Forces, during APEC Peru 2024, will be vital to guarantee that this international event takes place in a safe, orderly and successful manner, showing Peruvian capacity and leadership before the eyes of the world.
“Our Armed Forces are prepared to face any challenge, and in APEC they will do so side by side with the National Police, to guarantee that security prevails,” he assured.
“With our Armed Forces and the National Police, but, above all, with the patriotic commitment of all Peruvian men and women, we will set an example of unity, of brotherhood, of a prosperous country that seeks its constant development” , he stated.
