The Court of Justice of the Peace, of the province of Saint Peter of Macorís, imposed this Wednesday three months in prison as a measure of coercion against Andrès Céspedes, accused of ramming three kids on January 27, in the Santa Fe sector of that province, two of whom died and a third was seriously injured.
The information was offered by the lawyer for the victims’ family, Miguel Arredondo, who assured that on the one hand they feel good, since justice is being done with one of those responsible, but that they still need to catch the others involved in the case. .}
The deceased infants are Yeremi Novel, 7 years old, and Yeferson Novel, 5. The injured is Yeferson Novel.
Arredondo called on the authorities to continue the investigation, since it has been a regrettable event, both for the parents and for society in general.

It is recalled that the minors were run over by the jeep that Andrés Julio Céspedes was driving when they were returning from baseball practice when a jeep hit them.
Céspedes must comply with the coercion measure at the Correction and Rehabilitation Centers of Saint Peter of Macoris.
