Silvano Aureoles also rejected the alleged agreements with PAN members and PRI members, in the sense that the former will elect the presidential standard-bearer in 2024, while the latter the candidates for the governorship of the State of Mexico and Coahuila.
“That is in we will see, that is not determined, so I say it with all the forcefulness. Perhaps the priority is to win the State of Mexico and Coahuila, but the rest, (on the 24th), must be reviewed and defined at the time, but there is no other way, it has to be with the participation of civil society for whoever comes out, comes out with all the legitimacy and support to beat Morena’s corcholatas,” said the former legislator.
According to the former state leader, in Morelia the PRD contributed 20% of the votes to the PAN members, but this was not reflected when assigning spaces or public policy.
Silvano Aureoles announced that on March 6 he will present his proposal for a National Project for Love of Mexico.
PRD does not seek to break the coalition with PAN and PRI
Senator Miguel Ángel Mancera clarified that there is no spirit on the part of the PRD to break with the Va por México coalition, with PAN members and PRI members.
He commented that the construction of coalition governments is a PRD proposal, “it is compromising a program for the exercise of government… it is not the construction of a political force.”
The former head of government of Mexico City stressed that he will continue touring the country to position the party and strengthen the alliance towards 2024.
