Nataly is miraculously alive, after the flames of fire engulfed her little body for rescuing her pets. Unfortunately, two dogs died in the fire, she only saved “La Gringa” and Naty had to amputate her right leg and several fingers. Since August 5, 2021, Naty was experiencing a drama, she could not walk or write, the burns left her hairless and damaged her face; she had lost her smile and did not want to go out.

When they learned of her story, many sympathetic people went to her house, among them the policemen from the Sapallanga district police station who came to change her life and now, every day, from 8:50 in the morning, Naty waits for her Police friends who will take her to garden No. 622 in the San Martín neighborhood, where her classmates and teacher Melida Bendezu receive her with applause.

This Monday, June 6, the brave girl turns 6 years old. Her mother Primitiva Belita told us that the best gift would be the orthopedic leg that the little girl needs to walk again; but with her tender look, Nataly tells us that if she wants to walk again, but that she would like to be given a doll. Yesterday, like every day, the police officers with PNP Major Jorge León arrived at the house on Av. Fidel Miranda No. 1881, which is cared for by Naty’s parents, to take her to kindergarten. The least symbol of bravery, she goes to classes with her little sister Julia, who is 3 years old. “Nataly did not study, Monday was her first day of school, thanks to the police,” said Primitiva, who has 7 children and Naty is the penultimate. Primitiva, on the verge of tears, was moved and told us that the minor could soon undergo surgery, however she mentioned that the prosthesis (right leg) was still missing and she was trying to raise money for hospitalization expenses. Already in the garden, Naty showed us how she is learning to write her vowels with half of the two little fingers that were left on her right hand.
