Agents of the Special Force to Fight Crime (Felcc) dismantled a criminal organization called “Los Ochoa”, who doped their victims with psychotropic drugs to be able to steal their belongings in the municipality of El Alto, La Paz.
“We have carried out an operation, as a result of which we have managed to dismantle a criminal gang called ‘Los Ochoa’ made up of five people, two women and three meninformed Carlos Ibarra, director of the Felcc of El Alto, to Bolivia Tv.
Ibarra indicated that these five people were apprehended at dawn on Saturday, July 22, at an events venue in the July 16 area, which is the place where they operated. He added that, all have criminal records and that one of them was a fugitive from justice.
According to the police chief, this gang of pills mixed psychotropics with alcohol to put their victims to sleep and be able to steal their valuables. Cell phones, sharp weapons and other stolen items were found in his possession.
