Police are looking for those responsible for locking up the mayor of Central Station: he was threatened with bats and a firearm

The Mayor of Central Station, Felipe Munozsuffered a lock-up last Sunday night in the commune of Santiago.

As reported Radio Bio Bio, the event took place around 11:00 p.m., when the mayor was traveling with his partner in a private vehicle on Bulnes street, near Agustinas. It is at that moment that three subjects aboard a white car set them up, threatening them with a revolver and wooden bats.

Muñoz proceeded to get out of the vehicle with his partner after the intimidation, to which the criminals took his car and personal belongings inside. The incident occurred near the President’s house. Gabriel Boricin Barrio Yungay.

The Prosecutor’s Office instructed the Carabineros IAPA to collect the information to find those responsible.
