The interpolytechnic student block pointed out that the simulation of work and dialogue have never worked; we need results or else we will continue to be organized within the historical methods of the polytechnic community. Given this, they delivered a follow-up plan and procedure to the National Palace to advance in the solution of the problems they face.

In the document addressed to President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and heads of the SEP, Leticia Ramírez, and the IPN, Arturo Reyes Sandoval, they stated that before the little or none response of this to the student statement of September 13, in which they exposed the deficiencies, shortcomings, irregularities and nonconformities before the administration, organization, study plans and infrastructure in which the facilities are located, the student block made a follow-up plan and procedure to advance in the solution of the problems they face.

In the plan they indicate a term of half a year for the total fulfillment of the measures and they presented proposals on gender violence and requested the installation of a work table and a list of people who should participate. They requested the guarantee that no legal, academic or administrative actions will be taken against the students who participate in the movement.

Regarding security, they proposed to improve the access protocol to the facilities; In terms of infrastructure, they propose revision and preventive maintenance every six months and that in the event of an increase in student enrollment, the infrastructure must be in accordance with student needs. They also demanded the resignation of several officials in no more than 72 hours and the creation of a broad non-retaliation commission.

In a statement released prior to the afternoon march from the so-called Red Square in Zacatenco to the institute’s general directorate, to deliver the work plan they developed to Reyes Sandoval, they said that the objective of this document is to address the axes that are considered priority since when the problems are repeated in all the schools, it can be concluded that the ailments of the IPN respond to a structural problem.
